Journeyman Electrician

A Journeyman Electrician will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Must be able to wire all phases of motors, controls and other equipment.
  • Should have strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Installation, repair and troubleshooting boiler systems.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.

The qualifications to perform this job successfully include:

  • Conduit bending, controls wiring, low voltage, line voltage, motors, VFD’s.
  • Must be able to read plans, blueprints and schematics.
  • Must be able to work independently.
Additional qualifications to perform this job successfully include:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment.

Plumbing Division Administrative Assistant

An Administrative Assistant in the Plumbing Division will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain master bid list and quote tracking spreadsheet.
  • Follow up on outstanding bids and quotes. Develop easy to use quote electronic filing system.
  • Request fixture and equipment pricing from vendors. Schedule and coordinate equipment deliveries, returns and subcontractors.
  • Track incoming RFP (request for pricing).
  • Prepare quotes, revisions to quotes, change orders, etc.
  • Upon contract award, gather spec sheets for submittal package and follow through with approvals and revisions. Keep submittal log in accounting software.
  • Work with PM to develop contract startup worksheet, contract proposal or letter of intent. Assist with converting estimate to budget.

  • The individual selected is to be a customer-focused, team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Construction experience is required.
  • Applicants should possess a knowledge of customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean light oil & natural gas burner systems and controls. If you are familiar with one fuel but not the other, we will train you.
  • Prior experience with residential equipment. You will be trained on commercial/industrial applications.
  • Verify correct operation of equipment related to heating and process boilers.
  • Ensure proper running order of all systems.
  • Assemble or disassemble parts of light oil & natural gas burning equipment. Replace and rebuild faulty components.
  • Provide customers with technical product information and provide product training as needed.

The qualifications to perform this job successfully include:

  • Mass oil burner license required.
  • Pipefitter license desired.
  • Availability to work overtime and on call as required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in maintaining commercial/industrial gas/oil burners and equipment.

Service Technician

The Wilkinson Companies is hiring a Service Technician for one of our companies, UltraFiltronics. The position is a direct customer-facing position that involves the installation, service, troubleshooting and repairs of water treatment equipment. The individual selected is to be a customer-focused, team player with the ability to work independently, but will receive much support from co-workers and company resources to achieve our business objectives.

A Service Technician will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Experience with wiring motors, controls and other equipment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in electrical systems is a plus.
  • Assist in installation, repair and troubleshooting very high purity Industrial Water Treatment Equipment, analytical instruments and process controls.
  • Assist with starting up new or replacement water treatment systems.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.

The qualifications to perform this job successfully include:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Industrial water treatment experience helpful, but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment.
  • Looking for a self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.
  • Candidate must also possess excellent communitcation.
  • Computer literate in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.
