It’s easy being green!
What is green technology? A product or service is considered to be “green” if conserves energy or water, protects natural resources and/or reduces overall impact on the environment and surrounding community. A building that utilizes “green” technology is often referred to as a “green” building.
Why go green? “Conserving energy” translates to “cutting costs.” Green technology does more than just lower your energy bills. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 allows taxpayers to receive deductions for installing energy-efficient equipment and making overall improvements in commercial buildings through 2008. Many utility companies offer rebates as well.
What can you do? By installing the Autoflame® Combustion Management system you will conserve fuel, electricity and reduce harmful emissions.
How does it work? The Autoflame® Combustion Management System is a microprocessor based linkageless control system that eliminates the use of ‘old style’ cams, rods and linkages. The fuel and air valves are independent and operate via servo motors. Boilers/burners are able to achieve utmost combustion efficiencies from low fire to high fire.
An apt analogy would be: The Autoflame® Combustion Control System vs. old technology is the same as the 1960’s technology of a gas pedal and a 4 barrel carburetor vs. cruise control and fuel injection. You receive the same performance with smaller engines because the fuel is utilized so much more efficiently.
How big is your carbon footprint? Your carbon footprint is the total amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases you emit throughout your entire lifetime. You can help reduce the overall size of your footprint by installing energy-efficient equipment like Autoflame®.
